Shopping Bites #6: Spreading the word about stuff I’ve bought recently
A post with random shopping recommendations—related (or not) to beauty, fashion, and home—because I’m not a gatekeeper :)
Not super proud of having skipped last week's newsletter, but I got really sick! And I know it's pretty early for another shopping recs post, but trust me, I only share the things I really love.

1. Linen clothing from Linen Handmade Studio
After struggling with the heat wave in Paris and later in New York City, I realized I needed more linen pieces in my wardrobe. So, after some digging, I discovered this online store from Europe. It's a small business, women-owned, and they specialize in - you guessed - linen clothing. What amazed me is the number of colors they offer for each piece, and everything is made to order. First, I ordered this top, and I liked the quality and the fit so much that I decided to order the shorts. Yes, linen is not the cheapest fabric, but I found their prices reasonable - plus, we are talking about items that are gonna last a long time.
2. Linen top from Quince
And speaking of linen, I also ordered this strapless top from Quince, and I also loved it: the fit is great, as well as the quality, and the price is a steal for a linen item. This is not my first linen purchase from Quince - I've bought their linen sheets and I'm obsessed with them!
3. Aviator Sunglasses from Free People
I've watched a TikTok from Rent The Runway another day, and they were asking the team what the most saturated fashion trend is, and one of the answers struck me. The girl said that it doesn't make sense to spend hundreds of dollars on designer sunglasses when most of them are just… plastic. I was like: yeah. For real.
Well, let me share my contribution to the chat then: these aviator sunglasses from Free People, that are super stylish and cute, available in a lot of shades and don't break the bank! I'm obsessed with them.
4. Women's Restfeel Slide from lululemon
My name is Laura, and my last name is Comfort. When it comes to things we wear at home, I had no doubts I would love these slides that my friends gifted me for my birthday. Feels like walking in clouds. That should be enough to convince you. But these can definitely be worn for pool, parks, or beach days.
5. Dyson Cool Tower Fan
I was influenced by my sister to buy this fancy fan - it has been over a month and we have been using it almost every day, and it was worth every penny. Yes, we have air conditioning - and we are still using it. But there are some days that this fan is enough. It's pretty quiet, you can control the speed and the rotation, and there's a remote control.
6. Diffuser from Granado
I purchased this diffuser in February 2024, during my last visit to Brazil, and opened it around March, when I got back to NYC. And hands down to this product. It has been over A YEAR - did you hear me? A YEAR - and there's still some product on the bottom of the bottle. Not to mention the fragrance is sooooo good! Luckily, the brand is available here too! And if you are in NYC, Granado has some retail stores in the city.
7. High Neck Tank from Under Armour
I know this tank looks like a basic tank, but trust me, it's different. Besides the streamlined fit, it features a built-in shelf bra for added coverage & support and a super-soft, brushed knit fabric that is breathable & comfortable. I love it!
And that's a wrap! I hope you enjoyed this round of recs - and let me know if you have been trying some exciting products lately!
